For a first cash purchase, the Axe is displayed inside the Tool Shop cabin; the reviewed wall plaque shows $150. If repeated clicking is your immediate problem, the Hands → Hold upgrade shows $20 and enables press-and-hold punching. Start with your hands, sell the logs you collect, then choose the improvement that addresses cutting, collection or carrying.

Compare cash purchases during a run with the separate Robux Forever offers before choosing how to get a tool.

Hands: start cutting before your first purchase

Your hands are your starting tool. Approach a tree and punch it, watching its health as you work. Collect the logs left after it falls and take them to the sell area to build your cash.

The Hold hand upgrade lets you press and hold to keep punching. The selected card in Clout Brothers' footage shows BUY ($20). Choose Hold to reduce repeated tapping, or save toward the displayed Axe price when a cutting-tool purchase is your next goal.

Find and inspect the Axe

  1. Find the wooden cabin with the Tool Shop sign.
  2. Go inside and approach the Axe mounted on the wall.
  3. Use the interaction shown beside the display.
  4. Read the purchase plaque. It shows $150 in the reviewed footage.
  5. Buy the Axe when you have enough cash.

The Axe is the identifiable cutting-tool purchase shown in the early Tool Shop route. For its upgrades, the original gameplay narration names Sharpness, Speed and Hold. Open the selected upgrade card to read its effect and price; a later-level amount is not automatically the first-upgrade price.

Chainsaw: a powered tree-cutting tool

The Chainsaw is another cutting tool for working through the forest. Its locked Cut Speed upgrade card tells you to buy the Chainsaw at the Tool Shop first. Check tool ownership separately from your class selection.

Chainsaw Forever is a separate 249-Robux offer that provides the Chainsaw in every run. For the ordinary Tool Shop offer, read its current price and any duration or ownership conditions before paying.

The locked card identifies the Tool Shop purchase as the requirement for Chainsaw upgrades. Still attributed to VendoPlus at 1:10, preserved in this source-linked game UI image; reviewed 15 October 2026.

Log Vacuum: collect the wood after cutting

The Log Vacuum draws loose logs into your backpack. Its job comes after felling trees: cut the trees, use the Vacuum to gather the wood, then take your load to sell.

Find the Vacuum offer in the Tool Shop and compare its current cash price with your budget. Vacuum Forever is the separate 199-Robux option that provides the Log Vacuum in every run.

Your backpack counter remains a useful cue while collecting. When you reach its current limit, take your load back to the chipper's sell area.

Dynamite: another forest-clearing option

Dynamite is an item for helping clear the forest. Clout Brothers points out its purchase offer at 4:30. Read its card and the game's use instructions before choosing it for a run.

Dynamite Forever is the 249-Robux offer for Dynamite in every run. Compare the selected run offer's price and use instructions with the tool you already have before spending.

Backpacks: carry your next load

Backpacks increase how much wood you can carry before returning to sell. Inspect the backpack display near the selling area, read the capacity offered, and compare it with the load shown in your HUD.

Keep ordinary backpack gear separate from the INF backpack pass. The current pass offer is 149 Robux, but its store description does not state capacity or ownership conditions. An older unavailable item called Infinite Backpack is a different catalog entry. Use the current in-game card to establish what the current offer includes before comparing it with ordinary backpack gear.

Follow the collecting and selling guide to connect your backpack load with the return trip to the chipper.

Lumberjack Bot: a chopping and selling helper

The Lumberjack Bot chops trees, picks up the wood and sells it at the chipper for you.

The Lumberjack Bot Forever offer is 400 Robux and provides the bot in every run. Inspect it when you want a helper for the chopping, collecting and selling loop.

Buy Hold for continuous punching

  1. Open Upgrades. On desktop, Tab opens this menu.
  2. Find the hand upgrades and select Hold.
  3. Read its description and price. The reviewed card shows $20.
  4. Buy it, return to a tree, and press and hold to keep punching.

Hold changes how you use your hands. Buying it does not replace the separate Axe purchase.

Find the Gear cards

The Upgrades panel also groups Walk Speed and Chipper Speed under Gear. Open the matching card and read its description and cost before buying.

In-run purchases and Forever passes

Mistakes to avoid

  • Treating every purchase as the same menu: inspect the Tool Shop wall for the Axe and open Upgrades for Hold.
  • Spending before reading the selected card: check the name, description and price of the item you selected.
  • Continuing to tap after buying Hold: try its press-and-hold action on your next tree.
  • Using the Vacuum as your cutting tool: fell the trees first, then collect the loose logs.
  • Guessing backpack capacity: use the purchase display and your current load counter.
  • Confusing a Forever pass with a cash tool: compare the item, currency and stated ownership conditions, rather than treating the Robux figure as its in-run price.
  • Buying a named class to unlock a same-named tool: read the class perks and the Tool Shop ownership requirement separately.
